The first 5 listings are places that want you to fill out a moving quote, they’ll get paid around $4 for each quote you fill out. They don’t care if you hired the best moving company, it’s of no concern to them if you hired a bad one.

It IS their concern that they make money.

These on-line monster sites know that to rank in Google, you’ve got to have hundreds of words relating the the locality: Frederick History, Frederick Trivia, Frederick sports… The directory style sites typically have dozens, if not hundreds of pages on interesting facts, often simply copying publicly available yellowpages listings of local vendors.

Frederick Maryland Moving companies are hiring web design firms that do not have the SEO experience required to unseat these juggernauts from thier top spots in Google, additionally, a local business owner is not likely to see the value of adding trivia to his company site, believing that it’s not going to make them a sale.
