Downtown Frederick, Maryland

Downtown Frederick, Maryland, originally uploaded by craftybeaver.

The City of Frederick goes back 250 years.  A pre-revolutionary town,

the old-fashioned hills and spires of this little town look like Old Germany, Schiferstadt Germany is actually a “Sister City” to Frederick Maryland (what ever sister city means)

Lots of Italianate architecture, Frederick has lots of antique shops.

There are many, many reasons to relocate to Frederick Maryland.

And there are jobs to be had, Montgomery County is so close and provides a measure of high tech pull on the employee base of Frederick Maryland.

Everyone wants to work in Montgomery County Maryland, who can afford to live there (and Frederick County is only a half hour away)

This is still a Frederick Maryland Moving Company Website is search for a Maryland Moving Company to sponsor it.

This site/blog would be a boost to and powerful asset to accompany your existing Frederick Moving Company website.

But don’t take MY word for it, just look at the before and after stats for a Maryland Moving Company that we tested out this WEB2.0 Blog Marketing to support existing conventional website system on:

Website stats by http://siteanalytics.compete.com/wehelpumove.com/#

What are we looking at here?

We were hired by We Help-U-Move to provide one thing and one thing only:

Multiple listings in Google, Yahoo, MSN Live, AOL search.

We Help-U-Move already had a website and webmaster/web designer

Frederick Web Promotions was hired as a search engine marketing consultant, not a replace for the existing webmaster.

What you see in the graph above is when we posted to the blogs and social media sites, obviously you see a spike, when we stopped, web traffic stopped.

That graph is from an independent website that does analysis of traffic trends and the trend it shows is…

When you advertise with Frederick Web Promotions you get traffic.

Local & Long distance Frederick MD Moving Companies

10/31/2008

Long Distance moving companies working out of Frederick MD and
Local moving companies working out of Frederick MD listen up:

You all know how hard it is to get YOUR Frederick MD moving company to rank in Google™ for the search terms YOUR prospective customers are going to type into Google™ to find you.

123movers.com has most of the top spots… until now

That’s the strategy folks… only way to get your existing site to rank is to use quality external links like this one.

What do you think 123movers did to rank so high in Google™?

What Frederick Web Promotions is doing right here… you found this top site in at the top of Google™ didn’t you?

The Business Model for this blog is as follows:

Virtually all of the top listings in Google™ for the highly competitive keyword phrases that a Frederick Maryland Moving Company would want to be found under are dominated by Moving Quote Directories.

The top spots are always taken by these directories, most of them are making money by the little ads everywhere. They *might* get lucky and get a moving company to pay for inclusion, but they really don’t care what content is on the page as long as it has the top spot in Google™ and the resultant high volume of web traffic.

They’ll make more money from the ads than they will for having a moving company or real estate agent or mortgage broker pay for the right to advertise.

Fair enough, that’s Free Enterprise, those guys are top notch search engine optimization wizards, just like me. They know full well how to get a top spot for ANY keyword… and the companies that DO decide to pay for ad spots?

Their ads are not exclusive, there may be a dozen competing moving companies all jammed together. Doesn’t do too much good for a smaller moving company for it’s listing to be sandwiched between 2 giant van line firms, does it?

So what makes this site different?

Why move to Frederick Maryland?

Frederick MD Quality of Life

Employment of course

Many local Frederick County residents work in neighboring Montgomery County, the wealthy county on the southern border of Frederick.

The average income for Montgomery County workers is high… so is the cost of living!

Most Montgomery county employees live in Frederick Maryland.

Frederick has in my opinion, the best combination of availability of higher paying jobs and affordable cost of living.
